About this piece
French Louis XVI Style Marble Top chest of drawers. This elegant chest of drawers features a beautifully veined white marble top and richly patinated wooden base.
The refinded neoclassical design is characterised by fluted uprights, tapered legs and brass sabots, decorative gilt brass mounts and delicate brass detailing. Three generously proportioned drawers retain their original style circular brass handles and ornate escutcheons.
